Some time ago I was speeding up in the far right lane to make a orange light to shake a persistent tailgater. Minutes later a police car pulled me over for speeding. No denying, I was "possibly" speeding when asked on why I was being pulled over. I had a choice to defend it as a moral obligation to avoid being rear-ended or just take my lumps and let the process run. I defended! "I was speeding up to get away from that lunatic tailgater". The policeman replied: "That lunatic tailgater was me".
