Easter =

While hunting for appropriate, meaningful Easter cards I became a little disillusioned when I ended up with a empty basket. Nothing had captured the true meaning of Easter. All the commercial cuteness pointed to a Easter of degrees, like a theme with a extended drop down menu:
EASTER
for kids: Easter egg hunts, a cute dress for girls, nice outfit for boys, lots of candy, fun, fun, fun, cute bunnies, pretty flowers, butterflies, lady bugs
for teens: whatever
for tweens: lots of food, church with the folks
for parents: meal planning, shopping, cooking, decorating, lawn care, cards, family relations

What about the traditional Easter? A Easter with spiritual roots and promise of a redeemed life? As single parents, we are painfully acquainted with lack. We want a better life for us and the kids. We are looking to cut loose from the muck of the past and rise to a new life, like flowers in the spring, cherry blossoms, lambs, carefree bunnies... loved, respected, valued, heard.

YOU can have that new life! Simply, let go of all the muck of the past. Now your hands are clean and free to receive. It's your choice, life or death, blessings or curses. What better time than Spring and Easter to freely take what has been bought for you at the cross.

Here is a  Easter story to get you caught up:

Happy, hoppy Easter
