Saturday 9/28 free nationwide Museum day

On Saturday, more than 1400 museums across the country will waive admission for the ninth annual Museum Day Live!, hosted by Smithsonian Magazine. This deal includes free visits to botanical gardens, premier art galleries and local cultural institutions.

Some of the most popular museums participating include:

Los Angeles: GRAMMY Museum (reg. $12.95)

San Francisco: Bay Area Discovery Museum (reg. $11)

Chicago: Museum of Contemporary Art Chicago (reg. $12)

New York City: The Skyscraper Museum (reg. $5)

Atlanta: The Museum of Contemporary Art of Georgia (reg. $5)

For a complete list of local participating museums, visit the Find a Museum page. Each ticket is valid for entry to one participating museum. If museums reach capacity, they have the right to limit the number of guests until space becomes available.
