PURGE your clutter

Definition: elimination, removal

Synonyms: abolition, abstersion, catharsis, clarification, cleaning, cleanup, coup, crushing, disposal, disposition, ejection, eradication, evacuation, excretion, expulsion, expurgation, extermination, extirpation, liquidation.

One woman's trash is another woman's treasure.  No sooner do we decide that we have too much stuff that is cluttering up our homes, lives, and time we make excuses. The frayed towels can be used to mop up spills, the old, stained tops can be used when doing yard work. The piles of newspaper can be used for weed guard...
How about, the frayed towels can go to a animal shelter. The old toys can be sold at a garage sale and new ones bought with the proceeds (incentive for the peeps to get involved) Decent clothes and kitchen items go to a shelter and not so good ones to a Goodwill, where they sell compressed bundles to rag merchants to recycle to make paper. Here, at Call Mom, we network when we have items that no longer serve us and recycle them to a new family instead of filling up landfills. Our swap meets were some of my fondest memories because nothing was wasted.
Envision not having to look at mountains of obsolete stuff. Don't you already feel lighter? Happier for making someone happy with the stuff that was dragging you down?  Like with everything else, let it go to make room for something new.
