Entrepreneurs Network - CO/TX

Single Parent Statistics and Poverty:

•24.6% of all custodial parents and their children earn less than the Federal poverty level.
•12.5% of the general population in the U.S. lives in poverty.

now the good news

Last week we discussed ideas on how to earn extra income.  Here is how one mom is pulling it off.

She loves to bake and knows she can make money selling her scones and cookies to coffee shops, real estate/management/leasing offices, insurance agencies, even high end car repair shops etc.

To save time and money she found a fully equipped commercial kitchen co-op where she can operate for $15 ten hrs per week. New clients consult there with her and  regulars pick up orders. (until she has her own shop)
The Co-op assisted with:
Food Manager/Handler certificates (@$110 for 2years, 140 for 5 years)
Food Enterprise Permit (@310 per year)
County Health Department Inspection (@125 per year)
DBA (@15)
Sales Tax Permit: free

If you would like to know more about this or other opportunities, please shoot us an email.
