Many moms are on the move. The most charming, helpful man on the block may be a predator.
Yes, girly girls, ignorance can be bliss, it also can be deadly. Check out your area for toxic waste:

Fundraiser
Our annual September swap went well. We had nice weather and many new "friends" who offered help. We added them to our ever expanding resource list. I sent emails to get a child care co-op organized and hope that many of you will participate in this vital support to each other and our babies.
We were a little short on school supplies. Paper products (tissues, toilet paper, napkins, diapers and maxi pads) are in demand all year long.
If you can help, let your light shine.

Bad Credit

Bad Credit due to a divorce or unemployment is more common than anything else embarrassing we'd like to keep private. If bad credit is putting the breaks on your life, like a millstone around your neck, take a deep breath, put it on the table and let Jeff blow away the chaff. Just because it is an overwhelming situation to us does not mean there is no easy answer. I hope that the attached information is helpful and gets you thinking about taking on one project at a time to restructure you life and future.

from the hood.....
our school supply event is going strong. We are packing school supplies for youngsters into backpacks and giving them to moms who can't afford all the stuff at once. We need more help!
We are also packing boxes with paper products like toilet paper, tissues, napkins, maxipads, diapers etct since they seem to be a luxury as well. Again....We need some help. A need for winter coats has been expressed and we are working with some schools to donate unclaimed lost and found items.

food/gas/housing/jobs
we had a few situations last week that are all too common. Kids are out of school and can't have their free lunch or for that matter no dinner or breakfast on a regular basis either. Pre-schoolers have to bring their lunch to the sitter. Sometimes there are no sitters and moms are not talking because of fear that their peeps are taken away for neglect. Everything is going up except the paycheck.
